1. What did the poet want to do?
Answer The poet wanted to do his work.
2. What did the poet actually do in the end? Why do you think he did this?
Answer In the end, the poet could not help but laugh and go. He did this because the beautiful nature distracted him.
3. Think about the poem on page 70 and this poem. Do the poets have similar or different opinions about the country? Why do you think so?
Answer I think both poets have similar opinions about the country because they both are amazed at the beauty of nature in the country. They both want to spend time with the nature and forget about the city life and the works they have.
4. Which of the two poems do you like better? Why?
Answer I like the poem ‘City streets and country roads’ more. I like it because, the author speaks about both city life and country life in the poem. I enjoyed it a lot.
