Health is the condition of our body and mind. It may be good or bad. Good health means healthy body free from diseases. It is essential for everyone to lead a happy life. If we are not in good health, we cannot concentrate on any activity in our life.
A proverb goes, “Health is Wealth” It means health is equally valuable as gold or any other personal possessions. We may have vast wealth and property, but if we are not healthy we cannot enjoy them.
To keep ourselves healthy, we have to do certain things. We have to take a balanced diet. We must exercise regularly to keep our body fit for work.
There is an old saying :
'Early to bed and early to rise
Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.'
So we should not keep late hours. We should go to bed early at night and rise early in the morning. Peace of mind is another condition for good health. So we must not worry over small things of life.

How to Maintain Good Health
Good health is the source of all happiness. It helps us to maintain a sound life. So, we should try our best to maintain our good health. But in order to live a sound life one has to follow some certain activities. Firstly, we have to maintain a balanced diet because a balanced diet contains all the foods we need. We should drink a lot of water, at least 2 litre per day. Then we should drink milk daily because it contains calcium. Next we must be neat and clean otherwise germs will attack our body. Then we should go to bed early and rise early. After that we must be regular at physical exercises. It will make our body fit and make the proper circulation of blood. Finally, we have to take less pressure and anxiety to lead a sound life. It is another demanding condition by which we can maintain a good health. Thus, by doing all these things we can maintain a good health.
