My Experience of Travelling to another Place

Travelling is entertaining and educative at the same time. It is an exciting way to remove monotony from our daily life’s chaos. So, I with my family members try to travel to another place almost once a year. We travelled to my maternal grand-father’s home-town Tangail. As the preparation hours were hectic and the journey on the way was smooth, the whole experience of travelling was amazing.

The preparation hours before we started for Tangail went by very fast and we panicked during that time. We faced initial problems to arrange tickets of the train and so we had to buy tickets of bus. As we got the bus tickets of Friday morning, we had to pack our luggage at a very early morning. Therefore, we hurried to prepare ourselves for the bus-terminal. That time was very hectic.

After reaching to the bus-terminal, we had to wait for a long time as the bus was late. However, the journey on the way was pretty nice. When the bus started, the sun was on the east. The mild sun-rays of the winter was warming our face through the glasses of the windows. Again, the green fields, iron bridges, lakes and mustard fields that we passed were soothing our eyes. The journey was quite comfortable and it was fast.

We reached to our grand-father’s home after a journey of two hours and our staying experience in that place was wonderful. That place was full of things that represents the childhood of my grand-father. We could find a torn and old photograph of my great-parents picture. Exploring a home of hundred years was a different and exciting experience for us.

In conclusion, the experience of travelling along with the preparation and journey of the travelling was great. This type of opportunities of travelling is much needed for us to learn more and enjoy life.
