Nabi and Rasul

  Lesson 3

Nabi and Rasul

Allah has sent many Nabi (prophet) and Rasul to guide the people to the right path and to call them to the path of Allah. Nabis and Rasuls were the ideal teachers for the people. They taught the people the rules of life given by Allah practically.

The first man and the first Nabi on this earth is the Hazrat Adam (A.). Allah, the Almighty created Hazrat Adam (A.) by Himself.

And the last and greatest Nabi is Hazrat Muhammad (SM). Hazrat Muhammad (SM) was born in the holy city of Makkah in 570 A.D. And he died in 632 A.D. at Madina.

He spoke the truth always from his childhood. He used to help the people. He never told a lie. He lived in harmony with everyone. That is why everyone loved and honoured him. And they trusted him. They called him “Al-Amin”. “Al-Amin” means the most trustworthy.

Hazrat Muhammad (SM) attained Nabuwat at the age of forty. For twenty-three years, the Holy Quran Majid was revealed on Hazrat Muhammad (SM).
