One day a crow was flying for a long time in search of food. Suddenly she snatched a bun from a child. Then she sat on the branch of a tall tree to eat it. A clever fox saw the crow with the bun. He went and sat under the tree. He thought, "I have to snatch the bun from the crow." Then he said as sweetly as he could, "Good morning, Madam, How are you?”

There was no reply.

The fox again said, "You look so bright and beautiful. It's been a long time since I heard your song. Will you sing a song for me today? When I will hear your song, Then I will declare you to be the queen among birds."

Hearing the fox's praise, the silly crow thought, "I am indeed a queen among birds and I must prove it now." She opened her mouth to caw and the bun fell down from her beak.

The clever fox picked up the bun and ran away with it into the forest.
