C. Suppose you have learned at school how to make your drinking water safe and when and how much you should drink it in a day. Now write a short paragraph about how to make drinking water safe and its importance.
How to make drinking water safe and its importance
There are several ways of making drinking water safe. The boiling method is the most straightforward to use and doesn’t greatly affect the way water tastes. It’s very effective when done properly. To treat water using the boiling method, put the water you intend to treat in a pan. Bring it to a rapid boil. Hold the water at a boil for a full minute. Then remove it from the heat and allow it to cool. It’s safe and ready to use. Other ways of water purification include using water purifiers, reverse osmosis, distillation, chlorine bleach, iodine tablets, UV treatment etc. It is important to drink clean water to provide nourishment, prevention of infection and diseases and getting rid of toxins.
