F. Write briefly how you observed this year's 21 February at your school.

The International Mother Language Day is very special to us because of its history. In our school, like everywhere else in the country, we celebrate this day by performing different activities. Early in the morning, we offer flowers at the Shaheed Minar as a regard to the language martyrs. Because we do not have a monument of our own, we spent the preceding week by preparing a Shaheed Minar using wood, cardboards and other materials. We sing the traditional “Amar bhaier rokte rangano Ekushey February…” together while offering flowers there. Then, we spent the rest of the day by watching and participating in a cultural program.
