The person I am going to talk about is Mrs. Parul Akhter who is a social worker in our area. She has set up a school for the children who live in the slum in our area. As they are very poor, they do not have any money to buy books and other necessary equipments for the other schools. In her school, Mrs. Parul provides books and other basic equipments to those children for free. Some of the teachers in our area have come forward to help her by teaching in the school for free. Mrs. Parul runs the school with the help of the donation made by the rich people in our area. The parents of these poor children are very happy to have been able to send their children to school again who stopped going to school because of the cost of education. The children are also very happy that they are not deprived of education any more. Like other children from the solvent families, they can also experience the excitement of a school.
