Waiters are employees at a restaurant who serve food and drinks to the customers. Their service is important to us because along with serving food, they carry out other duties too. First of all, they help customers in choosing the right dishes from the menu list as they have better ideas about the food available in their restaurant. They maintain order and cleanliness at the restaurant. They set up the tables. They help obtaining orders from the counter by correct sequence. They clean the dishes and other kitchenware to keep the pantry clean. They also come forward if there is a spill on the table. Without waiters there would have been disorder in the whole restaurant and it would have made the customers upset. The service of a waiter is important mostly to obtain the satisfaction of the customers.

Last Friday, the cleaners in our area went on a strike demanding a raise in their wages. They did not come to work for three days at a stretch. As a result, all the rubbish got piled up like hills here and there. People started throwing their rubbish everywhere. On top of it, dogs and crows were scattering the rubbish from the roadside bins on the roads and streets. Bad smell polluted the air around and made it almost impossible to breath. Finally, after three days the cleaners resumed their work and removed all the rubbish from the beans and the streets. Once again the streets were clean. The people of our area felt relieved as it was clean again. After the strike incidence, they realized very well how important the services of a cleaner were.
